About PayloadForge
Spreadsheet data rarely matches an API perfectly.
PayloadForge was created to reduce the repetitive work between having data in a spreadsheet and having a payload an API can actually accept.
The problem
A spreadsheet may contain exactly the information an API needs while still being unusable as an API payload. Column names differ from API field names, numbers contain currency symbols, booleans arrive as labels such as Yes or Active, and values often need cleanup before they satisfy the target schema.
Developers frequently solve this with a temporary Python or JavaScript script. The script reads a CSV, renames fields, cleans values, converts types, validates records and finally sends or generates requests.
That works, but much of the work is repetitive. PayloadForge turns those steps into an interactive workflow.
What PayloadForge does
Import API structure
Start from an existing cURL request or example JSON payload.
Map spreadsheet fields
Connect source columns to the fields expected by the target API.
Transform messy values
Create ordered cleanup rules for numbers, strings, booleans and other source values.
Analyze the whole dataset
See which records remain valid or invalid after transformations are applied.
Suggest safe cleanup
PayloadForge can detect common formatting problems and simulate suggested transformations before you apply them.
Generate API-ready output
Produce typed JSON and cURL only after the data and mappings have been validated.
More than CSV-to-JSON conversion
PayloadForge is designed around a common integration problem: source data is usually imperfect.
For example, a target API may require a number while a spreadsheet contains₹3,83,000or$85,000. PayloadForge can identify that mismatch, preview cleanup rules across the entire column and show whether those rules actually improve the dataset.
The same model can normalize values such asYes,ActiveorDisabledwhen an API expects true or false.
Browser-oriented by design
The core mapping, transformation, validation and payload-generation workflow is designed to run in the browser. Separate online features, including early-access signup, analytics, advertising or future account features, may transmit the information required to provide those services. Our Privacy Policy explains those services in more detail.
